MCS began in 2006 as Marcus Maintenance Services, a division of Marcus and Associates, Inc. in response to a need for reasonably-priced and timely maintenance and repair services for our managed properties. In 2010, the division was formally spun-off into a new entity, Marcus Construction Services, LLC.
MCSIn 2008, MCS obtained a general contractor’s license and expanded their services to include renovations and major repairs for properties being readied for sale and for clients’ personal residences and investment properties. Brent Nishikawa, the youngest son of Company founder Marcus Nishikawa, returned from Northern California in 2010 to take charge of MCS. Brent’s experience as Project Manager and Facilities Supervisor for a leading Biotechnology firm and later, as Construction Manager for a firm specializing in major airport renovations and new construction, has further enhanced the expertise and abilities of MCS to provide high-quality construction services at reasonable prices, and perhaps most importantly, in a timely manner, to clients and sales agents of Marcus and Associates, Inc. and its affiliates.
